5.A famous professional athlete is Jerome Bettis who have Asthma. Jerome is a retired football running back of the Pittsburgh steeler. yet he is not in the Hall of fame. At the age of 14 or 15, Jerome discover he have asthma since he was passed out and rushes to the hospital. Despite having a symptom-free break for years, Jerome suffered a major asthma attack in 1997 during a nationally televised game (during a football game on lived TV). Jerome has faced his asthma head-on during his, and worked with his doctors to map out a game plan to help him control his asthma on and off the field. After that Jerome formed a foundation called Asthma All-star in-which Olympic champions swimmer Amy van Dyken, Olympic track-and-field gold medalist Jackie Joyner Kersee and Jerome travel around the country to helped kids with asthma overcome there fear.
